Our Services

The Academic Enabling and Support Centre (AESC) is one of the many networks dedicated to helping Notre Dame students achieve the best possible outcomes. The AESC has many support systems in place to make sure you, the student, succeed!

An amazing free service for success is The Success Now! program. These run during lunchtimes from Wednesday to Friday for the first half of each semester and deal with topics such as time management, exam prep and essay writing!

Another great free service is One2One; which is a 30 minute appointment with an experienced lecturer to work on academic related issues (things like essay writing, exam anxiety and many more issues that are relevant to you specifically).

There are also the Primer courses which are fantastic low cost courses aimed at getting you ready for Uni. These courses are put on at a fraction of the cost of any other providers and take place before semester starts so you can be as prepared as possible when starting your studies or, simply for students wanting to improve in particular areas.

Also check out “Delicious” bookmarks for links to topics students regularly request help with. Our friendly Disability Support Officer is also here to guide and help you, should you need any assistance. The Centre also runs the Tertiary Pathway Program to assist students in transitioning to undergraduate studies.
