Welcome to The University of Notre Dame Australia's
Broome Campus

Notre Dame’s Broome Campus is a unique and multi-faceted Research, Education and Training Hub in the heart of the Kimberley offering:

  • Vocational Education and Training
  • Tertiary Pathway Program
  • Professional Development
  • Higher degree and research opportunities.

As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), Notre Dame offers a number of Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses including Certificates in Health Services, Nursing and Education Support. These courses are qualifications in their own right, and may also provide students with pathways into Higher Education degree courses.

Students also have access to a range of support programs to help them achieve their goals, such as the Tertiary Pathway Program.

Reconciliation mission

The University of Notre Dame Australia is committed to providing strong support for the process of reconciliation between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Australians. It provides a supportive environment for all students and an opportunity for non-Aboriginal and Aboriginal people to come together and learn about Aboriginal history and culture.

Our Broome Campus is home to the Nulungu Research Institute. The Institute was established with the goals of creating educational pathways for Kimberley communities in the spirit of Reconciliation; valuing Indigenous Knowledge Systems; investing in Indigenous skills and knowledge at the individual, community, regional, and national level; and completing research of value to Indigenous communities.
