Denise Dillon-Smith  has taught in both primary and secondary sectors and has also worked as a Curriculum Improvement Officer at Midlands District Education Office.  She has specialised in the area of Literacy for many years and has a particular interest in the impact of low literacy levels on secondary students’ achievement and motivation.  She joined Notre Dame in 2007 as a lecturer in the School of Education.
