Sally Clark is the Assistant Dean and Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing and commenced employment at Notre Dame in 2002. Mrs Clark began her nursing career at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth and has studied midwifery, child health, sexual and reproductive health, nursing education and Aboriginal studies.

Mrs Clark has extensive experience working in regional clinical settings both in preventative and acute care settings and continues to combine academic pursuits and teaching with practical nursing.

Being able to provide the Kimberley with well prepared clinical nurses who are able to work in a culturally safe manner from the degree and diploma programs is of upmost importance to Mrs Clark. Growing a Kimberley nursing workforce will certainly offer sustainability in a time of critical nursing shortage. Building relationships and partnerships with schools, industry and other educational institutions in the regions is certainly a very positive step towards achieving this outcome.
