Job Application Process

Résumé, cover letter, selection criteria, interview techniques and everything in between.

If you are struggling with any stage of the job application process, make a one-to-one appointment with the Careers Officer for some objective advice. Often talking through your résumé uncovers relevant information that you may have forgotten to include or did not think was useful. If nothing else, another set of eyes can be crucial in eliminating careless errors, irrelevances and building your confidence.

The Careers Officer also works in conjunction with Notre Dame’s Heads of School and discipline coordinators as well as the Academic Enabling and Support Centre’s Success Now! workshop program to deliver advice on every stage of the job application process.

For more information on either of these opportunities, please see your Head of School or contact the Academic Enabling and Support Centre.
