Careers and Employment
Notre Dame University prides itself on the personalised attention it gives to students and this is also the case in Careers and Employment. The Careers area of Student Services, based in ND19 is a one stop shop where you can get assistance with all your career and job hunting needs.
Services provided:
- Designated online computer terminals for job seeking
- Career related handouts
- Information regarding employers
- One on one careers counselling appointments
- Advice on resume writing, job hunting and interview techniques
- Written and online application advice
- Information about graduate, vacation and casual job opportunities
We regularly email out graduate employment opportunities, employer information sessions and lunchtime workshops. Follow the link here to sign-up.

Casual Employment
We are regularly notified of employment opportunities with local businesses in Fremantle and Perth. To receive emails about casual employment opportunities, please send an email to studentservices@nd.edu.au, subject line CASUAL EMPLOYMENT, contact details should be provided in the body. Please note that Student Services does not search for work on behalf of students. The service is there to meet employer demands and to assist students searching for work.
Student Employment Scheme
There are also limited student employment opportunities available through the University Student Employment Scheme (SES). Student have previously been employed by the Development Office, both Libraries, Student Services, Campus Services, Prospective Students and Marketing and Information Technology to undertake a variety of duties. To be advised of any SES employment opportunities, notify Student Services of your email address.
