Professor Juli Coffin was Head of The University of Notre Dame Australia’s Broome Campus. She holds a degree in Education, a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and a PhD which explored Aboriginal context to inform the development of a bullying prevention program that is culturally sensitive to the needs of Aboriginal students.

Professor Coffin is currently Chief Investigator on the NHMRC funded Centre for Research Excellence in Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing at the Telethon Kids Institute. She has published a number of journal articles and book chapters, and delivered numerous lectures and keynote presentations at national and international conferences. Professor Coffin has also published work in the areas of stroke, nutrition and the cultural security around health service and education provision for Aboriginal people.
