All applications should include:
- Proof of English language proficiency if English is not your mother-tongue or your language of school and/or tertiary study
- Certified copies of your most recent or current translated school or academic transcripts
- A Personal Statement outlining your career objectives related to your course and choice of Notre Dame as a place to study, including information about your interests, and any work or community experience (1 - 2 pages)
- Additional documentation as required for research, DBA and MBA applicants
- Three passport-sized photographs
- Certified copy of principal passport pages (name/passport number/relevant Australian visa/s) if available
On receipt, your application is assessed by the Admissions Office and also by the School for which you are applying. An interview by appointment with the School (by phone) is also a usual part of this assessment.
If you meet the minimum entry requirements of the University, you will be notified by a Letter of Offer. You will also receive an Invoice for your first semester tuition fees, your once-off Enrolment Fee plus your medical insurance (OSHC) payment for the duration of your course. Your letter will advise you how to make your fees payment and how to apply for a Student Visa.
Your invoiced fees must be paid in full at least four weeks before the commencement of your course. If you want airport pickup, your arrival date, time of arrival and flight details should be sent at least 14 days before your arrival in Australia.
Conditions of application - Please read carefully
1. Tuition fees, Enrolment Fee and medical insurance charges - called Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) - are to be paid at least one month prior to the commencement date of your course. Payment details are outlined on the Application Form and on your Invoice.
2. Your attendance during Orientation Week including Enrolment Day is compulsory.
3. All students are required to meet the expected standards of behaviour, attendance, academic performance and concern for others required by the University at all times. If a student is judged by the University to have lost "Good Standing Status" then he/she could lose the right to remain within the program and subsequently lose student visa status.
4. On receipt of your fees, Notre Dame Admissions Office sends you your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) notice. This CoE is required before you can apply for your Student Visa to study in Australia. You need to take your Offer Letter and your CoE to the Australian Department of Immigration (DIMA) located at the Australian High Commission/Embassy in your country to apply for a student visa.
5. When selecting a commencement date please allow at least 4-6 weeks for Student Visa processing.
6. Any changes to your enrolment details must be declared to Notre Dame Admissions Office in writing.
7. Students under 18 years old are required to have a local carer or guardian.
8. Notre Dame reserves the right to change its fees and conditions at any time without notice.
