Foundation Year

The Foundation Year (FY) is an alternative entry pathway to undergraduate studies at The University of Notre Dame Australia. The Foundation Year is an enabling course designed for students who need additional time in order to master the required competencies needed for successful undergraduate study, or who may have experienced educational disadvantage. Educational disadvantage may be the result of economic, cultural, social, health or emotional factors.

Course Foundation Year
Duration 1 year
Loan SchemeMost students in the Education, Nursing and Health Sciences streams will be offered fully funded Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) subject to availability. Students with CSPs will be able to enrol in this course at NO COST. For eligible students in Arts & Sciences or Business streams, FEE-HELP is available.

Tertiary Pathway Program

The Tertiary Pathway Program (TPP) is designed for students who have not met the requirements for entry into Bachelor programs. The TPP provides students with academic skills focusing on analysis, research and academic literacy. The course is an alternative pathway into Notre Dame and is a means whereby a student can master competencies needed for successful undergraduate study.
