Graduate Certificate in Not-for-profit Leadership and Management
The not-for-profit sector encompasses a wide range of community, recreational, arts, government and non-government organisations. This course is aimed at existing managers and leaders either currently working in, or intending to work within, the human services not-for-profit sector. This area includes but is not limited to, services delivered to children, youth, families, seniors, people living with disabilities, culturally and linguistically diverse communities and emerging communities.
People participating in the Graduate Certificate in Not-for-profit Leadership and Management can expect to gain a substantial practical and theoretical understanding of the sector’s philosophies, culture and policy paradigms. In addition, participants will strengthen their leadership and management capacity in the financial, legal, promotional and human resources disciplines. It is expected that participants will be able to directly apply this knowledge and skills to benefit their workplace and professional career paths.
The Graduate Certificate in Not-for-profit Leadership and Management is offered as a part-time course, consisting of four units.
