Master of Exercise Science

The Master of Exercise Science is accredited with the professional registration body Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA). Upon completion of the course, Graduates are eligible to ascertain qualification as Accredited Exercise Physiologists. This is a two-year program in which the study of clinical exercise physiology is completed in the first year.

The course comprises the advanced study of clinical exercise physiology, motor control and learning, biomechanics, exercise rehabilitation, counselling and research skills, with the benefit of an additional year of research training, culminating in a research dissertation.

The degree also incorporates 360 hours of supervised clinical practicum within the industry including an opportunity for an international placement and mental health placement.
