Italian:
The Italian Studies program at Notre Dame is designed to develop in students the four language skill areas (reading, writing, listening and speaking) along with the analytical and critical thinking skills to enable students to pursue their studies in standard Italian Language and Italian culture. 

Greek:
The Greek Language Program was first introduced at Notre Dame in 1999 and is supported by the Greek Department of Education.  The program includes eight  units in Modern Greek language together with supplementary units in Greek History and the Modern Greek Economy.
