The University of Notre Dame Australia welcomes applicants with a previous record of study at TAFE. A number of agreements are in place between the University and TAFEWA to enable graduates of TAFEWA award courses to apply for advanced standing towards their study at Notre Dame.
Articulation from TAFE WA
The following information relates to particular agreements that Notre Dame has with TAFE WA for the provision of articulation and/or advanced standing to Australian citizen or resident students who are commencing Notre Dame degree programs at the Fremantle Campus.
The fulfilment of Minimum Entry Requirements (MER) does not guarantee an offer of a place in the nominated course.
Accounting
Certificate IV in Accounting meets MER for the Bachelor of Commerce (Major: Accounting).
Certificate IV in Financial Services meets MER for the Bachelor of Commerce.
Diploma of Accounting meets MER for the Bachelor of Commerce. Eligible applicants may be granted up to four units of non-specified advanced standing.
Advanced Diploma of Accounting meets MER for the Bachelor of Commerce. Eligible applicants may be granted up to six units of non-specified advanced standing.
Business Administration and Management
Certificate IV in Business meets MER for Bachelor of Commerce.
Diploma of Business meets MER for the Bachelor of Commerce. Eligible applicants may be granted up to four units of non-specified advanced standing.
Diploma of Business Studies meets MER for the Bachelor of Commerce. Eligible applicants may be granted up to four units of non-specified advanced standing.
Advanced Diploma of Business Administration meets MER for the Bachelor of Commerce. Eligible applicants may be granted up to six units of non-specified advanced standing.
Community Services, Education and Health
Certificate IV (Enrolled Nursing) meets MER for the Bachelor of Nursing.
Diploma of Community Services meets MER for the Bachelor of Behavioural Science and Bachelor of Counselling.
Diploma of Community Services (Children's Services) meets MER for the Bachelor of Education. Eligible applicants may be granted up to four units of non-specified advanced standing for the Bachelor of Education.
Advanced Diploma of Community Services (Children's Services) meets MER for the Bachelor of Education. Eligible applicants may be granted up to eight units of non-specified advanced standing for the Bachelor of Education.
Design (Multimedia)
Certificate IV in Graphic Design and Multimedia meets MER for Bachelor of Communications.
Diploma of Digital Design meets MER for the Bachelor of Communications. Eligible applicants may be granted up to four units of non-specified advanced standing.
