Living and Studying on Notre Dame's Fremantle Campus

The University of Notre Dame Australia welcomes your interest in the student accommodation offered on our Fremantle Campus.

Before you apply for accommodation in our student residences, it is vital that you read through the information provided on this website so that you are aware of the kind of facilities we offer, and the expectations the University has of all students living on campus.

Our residences can provide a vibrant and fun place to live while you study at Notre Dame. The accommodation is ideally suited to people who are comfortable living in a community which is a blend of enthusiastic Study Abroad students (mainly from America), as well as students from around the world and Australia.

We care about the success of your experience as a resident of Notre Dame so it is important to understand that the Residential Halls are not suited for those students who prefer to live alone or in a quiet environment. It is our aim to build a sense of community where people have respect for each other.

Where is Notre Dame's Accommodation Located?
The Residential Halls are in the centre of the Fremantle Campus and therefore close to all Campus facilities. The Fremantle Campus is located in the historic West End of Fremantle, the main port city of Western Australia, 18 kilometres from Perth. It is a 'town' university and the only one of its type in Australia. The beautiful buildings of both the Campus and the surrounding city of Fremantle lend a distinctive character to Notre Dame. Supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, beautiful beaches and sport and recreation facilities are within walking distance or are easily accessible by public transport.
