Notre Dame in New York City!

The School of Arts & Sciences also offers a unique three week summer program in the greatest metropolis in the world - New York City!

This special unit runs over three weeks and involves lectures and excursions Monday to Friday, with weekends free for students to explore New York.

Each morning there is a three-hour seminar on a topic in US history and politics (topics include slavery, immigration, revolution, 9/11, etc).

Every afternoon there is an excursion to a site in New York relevant to the seminar topic. Other cultural activities (visit to Broadway play, visit to United Nations, etc) are also included. Students get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn about United States' history and politics while staying at New York University in Lower Manhattan.
