Dr Peter Gall has a 25 year history in industry senior executive management having held positions including State Manager, Warner Bros; State Manager, Telstra Payphone Services; General Manager, HotCopper Limited; and Chief Executive Officer, EzeNet Limited. Dr Gall was awarded his PhD in April 2008.

Peter's current research interests include, Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Artificial Intelligence and Management Information Systems.
He currently supervises HDR students: 5 DBA, 2 PhD and 1 MPhil in diverse disciplines including Heath Sector Information Systems, Australian Film Industry funding, Health Sciences Strategic Planning, Retirement living Models, Mining sector Human Resources Issues, Staff Health and Wellness strategies, CSR and Sustainability.
Peter has been Principal Supervisor of one PhD completion, and one under examination (2017).
Peter has also examined a Ph.D. thesis titled 'The Assimilation and Diffusion of Geophysical Information Systems in the Australian Mining sector' for a Curtin University student.


Research and engagement

Book Chapters
Peter has undertaken the development and submission of book chapters in the field of Management and devised Teaching and Learning materials across a diverse range of subjects in the fields of Management Information Systems and Strategic Management.
Two book chapters were published by the IGI Global Group in the Encyclopedia of Networked and Virtual Organizations; December 2007. These chapters focused on evaluating internal preparedness to operate more virtually and external readiness to collaborate more virtually.
2011: Revised and updated the support materials for a new edition of a Management text: Waddell D, Jones G & George, M. (2011) “Contemporary Management” 2nd Edition, McGraw Hill, North Ryde, NSW Australia.

Numerous articles in Management Information Systems related Journals.
Conference Papers
A range of papers based on his Ph.D. thesis at conferences in the UK, Germany, Slovenia, France, Italy.
