Dr Peter Gall has a 25 year history in industry senior executive management having held positions including State Manager, Warner Bros; State Manager, Telstra Payphone Services; General Manager, HotCopper Limited; and Chief Executive Officer, EzeNet Limited. Peter has been a recipient of numerous industry awards including an award for devising the name PhoneAway for Telstra’s International Pre-Paid Telephone Calling Card. Dr Gall was awarded his PhD in April 2008. His PhD thesis was titled ‘Creating New Instruments to Advance Research into Virtual Organizations’. Peter has authored/co-authored over 15 research papers in his field of interest as book chapters, journals and for international conferences. Prior to joining Notre Dame he has held senior lecturer and lecturer positions responsible for the design, development and delivery of over 20 undergraduate and postgraduate units and courses at Edith Cowan University. He was also directly responsible for formulating and conducting the annual, Edith Cowan University, eBusiness Planning Competition for five years and was also nominated for an Excellence in Teaching Award in 2005. Dr Gall is a member of the National Association of Economic Educators and a member of the Australian Society of Computers in Learning in Teaching and Learning Education. He has also chaired and been a member of numerous university senior management committees. |
