Dr Anne Coffey |
Anne Coffey is the Coordinator of Secondary Programs. She has over twenty years experience in teaching at a secondary level in a variety of metropolitan and country government schools. During this time she was heavily involved with the School Drug Education Project and delivered professional development to both primary and secondary teachers in the area of drug education.
Anne has held a variety of positions at the district level for the Department of Education and Training (DET). As Project Manager, Local Area Education Planning Anne worked closely with school administrators, parents, architects, local government and Members of Parliament in the development of new schools. In the role of Manager Operations she was involved in assisting and advising schools in matters related to DET policy and procedures.
Prior to joining Notre Dame, Anne worked as a sessional lecturer for Edith Cowan University. She is currently a senior lecturer and teaches units in both the Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) and Bachelor of Education programs. She has interests in the areas of education policy, school organisation and educational reform.
