Jacinta Petersen

Jacinta Petersen joined the staff of the School of Education in 2012, after previously working as a sessional staff member from 2009. She has worked in a number of Catholic primary schools with a range of roles including classroom teacher, Assistant Principal, Curriculum Coordinator and support teacher. She is also a trained Primary Connections facilitator. At Notre Dame Aust., Jacinta teaches at the undergraduate level in the areas of Religious Education, Primary Science and Pedagogy. She has a strong interest in assisting preservice teachers to develop their personal teaching skills and understanding of the curriculum. She is currently exploring this issue in Primary Science to fulfil the requirements of a Doctor of Philosophy qualification. |
