Patrick Hampton joined the School of Education in 2010. He has over 20 years experience teaching in rural and metropolitan primary schools, working in all year levels and curriculum areas.
Prior to joining Notre Dame Patrick worked in school administration, as a Principal and Deputy Principal, leading school communities in curriculum development, student pastoral care and supporting students-at-risk. He has also worked across networks of schools on curriculum improvement and moderation projects and has previously lectured at the tertiary level in literacy and curriculum studies.
Patrick has a strong interest in supporting graduate and pre-service teachers in schools and in 2007 completed a Master of Education in Leadership and Management at Notre Dame, Fremantle.
Patrick is a currently Coordinator of Primary Programs including the Bachelor of Education (Primary) and Master of Teaching (Primary).
