Jacqui Francis-Coad graduated from Cardiff School of Physiotherapy in 1986 and worked at the University Teaching Hospital in Bristol, UK before migrating to Western Australia in 1989. She spent her first 2 years working in private practice and ICU before setting up contract physiotherapy services to community and residential aged care sectors. In 2002 she completed a Masters degree in gerontological physiotherapy and began teaching the physiotherapy modules for the Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance for TAFE. Since 2007 she has worked at the School of Physiotherapy in the role of Clinical Education Liaison Manager and Lecturer to further her interest in physiotherapy education. She has completed the Graduate Certificate in University Teaching and her research interests are based around facilitating student learning.
