Ms Justine Howard |
Justine obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Curtin University of Technology in 2000. She then moved to Sydney to commence her legal studies, whilst working full time as a Registered Nurse. Justine then became the Associate to the Honourable Mr Justice Barry O’Keefe AM of the Supreme Court of New South Wales for one year. Mr Justice O'Keefe retired from the Court and Justine then became the Associate to the Honourable Justice Hislop, also of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, for three years. Justine's time as a Supreme Court Associate was completed whilst studying law part time. In 2007, Justine commenced working as a lawyer in the dispute resolution group of Sparke Helmore Lawyers in Sydney, eventually transferring to the Perth office of the firm. She practiced primarily in the areas of general tortious liability, insurance related disputes and medical defence litigation. In 2009, Justine was the Assistant Secretary of the St Thomas More Society for Catholic Judges, Barristers and Lawyers in New South Wales. Justine also holds a Master of Laws from the Australian National University. Justine commenced working full time for Notre Dame in 2010. Justine lectures in Remedies and Alternative Dispute Resolution, whilst tutoring in Equity and Trusts. |
