Dr Elizabeth Boase has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech and Hearing) from WAIT (now Curtin University), a Bachelor of Divinity (First Class Honours) and a PhD from Murdoch University. Her doctoral studies were in the field of Old Testament, and her PhD dissertation The Fulfilment of Doom? The Dialogic Interaction Between the Book of Lamentations and the Pre-exilic/Early Exilic Prophetic Literature was published by T&T Clark in 2006. She has published in Vetus Testamentum and the Australian Journal of Liturgy, and has presented papers at conferences throughout Australia. Dr Boase teaches in the area of Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, and has an active research interest in the book of Lamentations and the poetic literature of the Hebrew Bible.
