All requests for a refund should be submitted in writing to the Manager, International Education Office. Supporting documentary evidence must be provided. A notice of withdrawal due to illness or disability, death of a close family member (parent, sibling, spouse and/or child) or political or civil event that prevents acquittal may be accepted as grounds for partial refund of fees.
In all cases, refund of fees complies with the Western Australian Government's policy guidelines for institutions providing courses to international students and the Commonwealth Government's Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000 . This agreement does not remove the right to take further action under Australia's consumer protection laws.

. If we offer a place at the University the
i. Enrolment Fee and
ii. Home stay Placement Fee are non-refundable
No refund
. If the visa application is unsuccessful and the student notifies the University in writing within 14 days of refusal from the Australian Embassy
100% of tuition fees
. If the student withdraws more than 4 weeks prior to semester commencement
100% of tuition fees less an administration fee of up to [AUD] $600.00
. If the student withdraws less than 4 weeks prior to semester commencement
50% of tuition fees paid less an administration fee of up to [AUD] $600.00
. If the student withdraws and leaves the course 0 to 4 weeks after the course commences
30% of tuition fees paid less an administration fee of up to [AUD] $600.00
. If the course is 10 weeks or less and the student withdraws and leaves the course 0 to 4 weeks after the course commences
No refund
. If the student withdraws after week 4 of commencement of the course
Any refund is at the discretion of the University
. If the student cancels Home stay Accommodation up to 2 weeks before seeking to leave the house
100% accommodation fees less the Home stay Placement Fee of [AUD] $140
. If the student withdraws from Student Residence Accommodation :
- more than 4 weeks before course commencement
100% accommodation fees less the Home stay Placement Fee of [AUD] $140
- less than 4 weeks before course commencement
100% accommodation fees less a cancellation fee of [AUD] $240 and the Home stay Placement Fee of [AUD] $140
- after course commencement
No refund
. In the event that the University defaults on any course offered and paid for by the student
The University will refund 100% of tuition fees within 2 weeks of the default date
. If the University withdraws an offer or fails to provide the course offered or terminates a course
100% of tuition fees, unless the offer has been based on incorrect information from the student, when the University can retain up to [AUD] $600.00
. If the University withdraws a student from a course because the student has seriously breached international student visa conditions or University rules
No refund of that semester's fees and not less than 40% of fees applicable to a subsequent semester (up to two semesters)
