Orientation
Orientation Week is held in your first week of arrival. This is an important and informative set of sessions organised by the Student Life Office. The information at these sessions includes:
• a familiarisation tour with staff of the City, using metro-rail and bus systems;
• an academic orientation from the academics with an explanation about the tutorial/lecture system at The University of Notre Dame Australia, reading the timetable and add/drop requirements;
• tours of The University, your residence and the City of Fremantle;
• Information from the Student Life Office outlining life on campus, sport, volunteering, mentor programs and counselling services;
• a visit and briefing from the US Consul General;
• safety information;
• a community meal — this is a great opportunity to meet with other students on the program and get to know some of your academic staff;
• University Welcome Day
• Welcome Mass for Study Abroad Students.
