Orientation

Orientation Week is held in the week prior to commencement of classes. This is an important and informative set of sessions organised by the Student Life Office. The information at these sessions includes:

• a familiarisation tour with staff of the City, using metro-rail and bus systems
• an academic orientation including with an explanation about the tutorial/lecture system at The University of Notre Dame Australia, reading the timetable and add/drop requirements
• tours of The University
• information from the Student Life Office outlining life on campus, sport, volunteering, mentor programs and counselling services
• safety information
• presentations from immigration and health insurance representatives
• a welcome mass, bbq and exhibition booths
