Student Life

The Notre Dame Sydney Campus is a lively and vibrant place to study. There is a student common room with pool tables and a sunny courtyard for lunch times and study breaks. Benito’s Café is located on campus and many cafés and restaurants are nearby in Broadway and Glebe. Students are encouraged to make use of the many sport and recreational facilities available nearby.

The Student Life Office coordinates the Student Association and student events such as:

  • Student dinners, balls and trivia nights
  • Sporting teams and the University Games
  • University clubs and societies
  • Orientation

The Campus Ministry’s purpose is to enhance and animate the Catholic character of the university. They organise liturgies on campus and have an important role in World Youth Day coming up in July 2008. They also provide a free and confidential counselling service to students.
