Objectives
- To encourage sustained involvement in primary care research
- To participate (independently or collaboratively) in research which will inform practice
- To identify research projects that will engage general practitioner (GP) interests
- To provide core academic support for early career primary care researchers
- To develop a group of general practices capable of undertaking clinically relevant research (ie research practices)
- To encourage GPs and other health professionals to have "hands on" roles in research projects
- To support undergraduate student interest in primary care research
- To foster broader consumer involvement in primary care research
- To encourage primary health care research interests in the Kimberly region in partnership with the Nulungu Centre for Indigenous Studies, University of Notre Dame, Broome Campus.
