Reserve Collection

The Open Reserve collection is housed on the first row of shelving opposite the Loans Desk. The Closed Reserve collection is housed behind the Loans Desk. Reserve items are high demand materials and may only be borrowed for two hours or overnight.

Daytime Loans

A maximum of two Loans Desk items may be taken for a non-renewable two hour loan, while Open Reserve items may be freely accessed without being borrowed. Please return Loans Desk items directly to staff at the Loans Desk (not to the Return Box). Unless borrowed overnight, return Open Reserve items to the shelving trolley at the end of the Open Reserve shelves.

Overnight Loans

Students may borrow a maximum of two Reserve items on overnight loan. Items are available two hours before closing, and due one hour after opening the following working day. Please hand overnight loan returns directly to staff at the Loans Desk.
