Professor Selma Alliex
PhD

Professor Alliex teaches in the undergraduate and postgraduate program in the School as well as supervises a vast range of higher degree students. She has presented a large number of conference papers on nursing and nursing practice.

Dr Louise Hickman RN, BN, MPH, PhD

Dr Hickman is a practicing registered nurse for 11 years, she has a Masters of Public Health and a PhD in Nursing, her doctoral study utilised an Action Research framework. Dr Hickman's clinical expertise lies in the fields of community and aged care nursing including palliative care.

Associate Professor William Goodin
RN, DipRM, BA, MCH PhD

Assoc Prof Goodin trained as a psychiatric nurse and worked in community care. He was appointed to a State–wide (New South Wales) position in liaison–consultation nursing specific to alcohol, tobacco and other drug–related problems, has held long term directorships on management boards of both government and non-government treatment agencies and has acted as consultant on a range of alcohol tobacco and other drug research and education projects both within nursing and across health and welfare disciplines.
