Building a strong research culture

Notre Dame received a significant boost to its research funding from the Federal Government as part of the Collaborative Research Networks (CRN) program. Notre Dame has been awarded $5.96 million over the period 2013-2017 from the Department of Industry, Innovation, Climate Change, Science, Research and Tertiary Education (DIICCSRTE) for the research project Healthy People, Healthy Country: Translating evidence into action to improve health and wellbeing in vulnerable populations.

The Notre Dame research will focus on three themes to improve health and wellbeing:

The University is collaborating with five partnering institutions across WA, NSW, ACT and VIC: Australian National UniversityThe University of Western Australia, Curtin University, the Kimberley Institute and the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.
