Take a digital journey this Lent with Notre Dame and Xt3.com
13 March 2014
A unique and innovative way to engage with the spiritual journey of Lent is now available in palms of staff, students and extended community members alike thanks to The University of Notre Dame Australia's partnership with Xt3.com. The partnership has seen the 2014 Lent Calendar launched as a free Smartphone app as well as a mobile-friendly website.
For each day of Lent, Notre Dame and Xt3 will provide daily inspiration through videos, podcasts and reflections, as well as beautiful original artworks of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ, created by Xt3.com
The Calendar can be viewed online and is also available as a free app for download to iPhone, iPad and Android devices via the App Store or Google Play Store.
A number of Notre Dame staff and students will feature in the videos, podcasts and reflections including Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Hayden Ramsay, Chaplaincy Convenor on the Sydney Campus, Patrick Langrell, and the student facilitators of the Love and Responsibility series.
"The Lent Calendar makes Lenten reflection, and food for thought accessible and engaging," Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Hayden Ramsay says.
"The University is pleased to be able to partner with Xt3.com to give staff, students and the community the opportunity to take part in a thought provoking Lent via the most up to date technology."
