Resources

All research is different but good research is built on sound training that helps the investigator understand what is known and the gaps in current information; framing the hypothesis around the issue being investigated; designing a robust study and obtaining ethics approval; collecting and analysing the data and finally, communicating the results to others.

Learning these skills takes time and while there is nothing better than working with an experienced researcher, there is a wide range of material from reputable institutions and people who can provide you with the basics. These pages provide links to some of that material.

If you find a resource that you believe would be useful to others, please send the link to IHR@nd.edu.au.
