Best Practice in Research

Notre Dame is committed to best practice in research across all academic disciplines based on the University’s Code of Conduct for students and staff. Notre Dame’s research regulations and policies are guided by the general principles and standards of Australia’s national guidelines on best practice in research.

These regulations complement the general code of conduct for research at the University and further specific Schools and Course regulations where applicable.

Expert staff at Notre Dame’s Research Offices in Fremantle and Sydney can be consulted on the many aspects of research development and performance. Research Office advice covers the life of a research project from initial considerations to final reporting of research and data management after publication.

Expert librarians are also available to provide advice and support through a variety of targeted workshops and individual consultations throughout the course of a research project. See the Library’s Research Guide for more information.
