Translational Clinical Research

This national partnership includes the School of Medicine at Notre Dame, the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Sydney and the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in Perth.

The translational research program is aimed at building research capacity and supporting clinical academics to undertake research across the Notre Dame clinical schools in metropolitan, regional and rural areas of NSW and VIC.

Research focus areas include chronic diseases such as cardiovascular, stroke, diabetes, and respiratory disease. The goal is to analyse research evidence and to enable the translation of this evidence into practice and policy.
