These Education scholarships are provided by the Catholic Education Office and they are available to students currently in year 12 at a Sydney Systemic Catholic School wishing to apply to the School of Education at The University of Notre Dame Australia.
Executive Director’s Scholarship 2010
This scholarship is an amalgamation of two existing scholarships: the Sydney Catholic schools Scholarship and the Executive Director’s Scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to year 12 students who have demonstrated the personal and academic qualities that would identify them as prospective quality teachers. All schools are eligible to apply, however special consideration will be given to students in schools in the South West of the Archdiocese of Sydney. Applicants will also be sorted according to discipline areas of teacher shortage across the Archdiocese. There are 20 scholarships available.
Award: $2000 per year for 4 years
Br Kelvin Canavan, fms Scholarship 2010
This new scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding Year 12 student who has shown consistent application to his/her studies and strong personal commitment to a career in either primary or secondary teaching and are likely to receive and ATAR of 90.00 or above. Terry Keogh Scholarship 2010
This new scholarship will be awarded to a Year 12 student wishing to pursue a career in teaching secondary students in the areas of Mathematics and /or Science and are likely to receive an ATAR of 74.00 or above. There is one scholarship available at UNDA.

Natalie McNamara Scholarship 2010
This new scholarship will be awarded to a Year 12 student with a strong desire for either primary or secondary teaching who has demonstrated personal commitment and outstanding leadership in all areas of College and community life and are likely to receive an ATAR of 74.00 or above. There is one scholarship available at UNDA.
Award: $2000 per year for 4 years
Jubilee Indigenous teacher training Scholarship
The Catholic Education Office, Sydney invites applicants who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, to apply for the 2009 Jubilee Indigenous Teacher Training Scholarship. The scholarship is for indigenous people who have a desire to pursue a career as a primary or secondary teacher in a Catholic school and are likely to receive an ATAR of 74.00 or above. There are 2 scholarships available.

Caroline Chisholm Refugee teacher training Scholarship
The Catholic Education Office, Sydney invites applicants who identify as a Refugee, to apply for the 2009 Caroline Chisholm Refugee Teacher Training Scholarship. The scholarship is for refugee people who have a desire to pursue a career as a primary or secondary teacher in a Catholic school and are likely to receive an ATAR of 74.00 or above. Sydney Catholic Education Scholarships
Award: HECS costs for each year of teacher training and $500 per year Resource Allowance. Recurrent funding is subject to academic results, sound practicum reports and university attendance.
