DEADLINES FOR REQUESTING EQUITY ASSISTANCE
Students who would like to request assistance in their lectures, examinations or other areas through the Disability Support Office should take careful note of the following deadlines.
PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED STUDENTS
Students who have previously registered and been assessed for equity assistance must confirm their requirements EVERY SEMESTER AND TERM to the Disability Support Office by the census date of their unit or the main semester/term census date.
REGISTERING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Students who, for the first time, find they have a need for equity assistance at the start of semester are asked to register with the Disability Support Office by the census date of their unit or the main semester/term census date (whichever comes first).
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED AND YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE CHANGED
Students who find that their circumstances have changed or no longer require equity assistance should inform the Disability Support Office by the census date of their unit or the main semester/term census date (whichever comes first).
IF YOU REQUIRE ASSISTANCE AFTER THE CENSUS DATE
Students requiring assistance after the Census Date should contact the Disability Support Office to register for equity assistance for the following semester/term. Depending on the circumstances and on the assessment by the Disability Support Office, your exam(s) may be scheduled as a deferred exam(s) for the examination period in the following semester/term (whichever comes first).
All enquiries, requests for equity assistance or changes to circumstances must be registered with the Disability Support Office, who can be contacted by email firstname.lastname@example.org, or by telephoning, (02) 8204 4283
