The Admissions Interview

The admission interview is an important part of the admission process at Notre Dame. It not only provides an opportunity for the University to assess eligibility for admission, but is also an opportunity for the applicant to gain an insight into the University and ask questions about the course.

Generally, interviews are conducted in person on campus, but in the case of rural or remote students, the interview may be conducted by phone. A member of academic staff in the area of the applicant's first course preference will conduct the interview and most interviews last 20-30 minutes. Neat casual attire should be worn.

After the Interview

A recommendation will be made to the Admissions Office and applicants will be notified of the success of their application in November or December.
