Dr Katrina Simpson has presented nationally and internationally on the design of the SMOSA, an instrument specifically measuring the multidimensionality of adolescent motivation and academic self perceptions and has a particular passion of statistics. She is also a fully registered psychologist who currently lectures in statistics at the university. She has applied psychological experiences in the areas of intellectual disabilities - particularly developmental disorders and syndromes, as well as educational research, drug and alcohol counselling, critical incident debriefing and anger management.
