Mr Amitav Saha |

Mr Amitav Saha is a Lecturer in the School of Business at the University of Notre Dame Australia. He holds a Master of Commerce degree from Macquarie University, a Bachelor of Business from Australian Catholic University and an Advanced Diploma in Accounting from Central College, Sydney. Amitav was awarded the CPA Australia award for excellence in accounting studies in 2008. Amitav is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants Australia (FIPA), an Academic Fellow of the Association of International Accountants (FAIA) UK, a member of CPA Australia and a member of the International Association for Accounting Education & Research. He sits on number of advisory committees. Prior to his appointment at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Amitav taught accounting for a number of years at the Australian Catholic University. Before joining academia, he worked for a multinational corporation. His research interests include International Financial Reporting Standards and international accounting diversity. He teaches in the areas of Financial Accounting, Corporate Accounting and Auditing.
