School of Education, Sydney

Excellence in teacher education is a tradition at the University. The School of Education enrolled the first students at Notre Dame's Fremantle Campus in 1992 and since then hundreds of graduates have gone on to seek meaningful employment in Catholic, Independent and Government schools throughout Australia and internationally.

The School of Education in Sydney welcomed its first cohort of students in 2006. The focus of the School is to produce industry-ready graduates. Notre Dame's unique undergraduate teaching courses allow students to develop their teaching skills over 32 weeks of in-school experience.

Students of the School currently benefit from a low student-to-staff ratio and the many opportunities for meaningful research.
