Michael Zammit holds degrees in Bachelor of Economics (Honours) (Newc) and Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Macq). After graduating in Law he was employed as a solicitor with Allen Allen and Hemsley, Solicitors, firstly in their Property Department and later in their Litigation Department where he worked on large litigation matters. In his third year of practice he left Allen Allen and Hemsley to take up a position as a solicitor with the Commonwealth Director of Prosecutions. In 1991 he was called to the Bar and currently practises as a barrister specialising in commercial litigation matters including contract, equity and Trade Practices where he appears both in the Supreme Court and Federal Court jurisdictions.
