After graduating in Arts and Laws from the University of Sydney, Richard Perrignon worked as a solicitor in Sydney with Freehill Hollingdale & Page and later with Allen Allen and Hemsley, in their commercial litigation and banking practices respectively. In 1992 he was admitted to the NSW Bar, where he continues to practice as a barrister-at-law. In 2007, he was appointed a judicial member of the NSW Administrative Decisions Tribunal, and sits in its Revenue and Equal Opportunity Divisions.
