Postgraduate Medicine Courses

The School of Medicine, Sydney currently offers the following postgraduate courses:

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD): Course Regulations
Masters of Medicine/Surgery (MMedSurg): Course Regulations

Potential applicants for all the above degrees should initially contact the Head of Postgraduate Research in the School of Medicine, Sydney, Professor George Mendz, to discuss their application (gmendz@nd.edu.au). Final approval to enroll in the degree will not be granted until the applicant receives a letter from the Dean and Sydney Provost confirming that permission to enroll has been granted by the University Research Committee. This will require the submission of a proposal on an application form. This form and relevant information will be provided by the Head of Postgraduate Research when students make contact.

These degrees are open to Australian and overseas students on a fee-paying basis. There are a number of scholarships available for Australian applicants that waive 100% or 50% of the fees for the PhD and Masters degrees by Research.
