Dianne Dormitorio has over seven years of professional experience in Mental Health Nursing. She has worked in a variety of Private and Public Adult Mental Health clinical settings namely: Registered Nurse in an in-patient sub-acute unit and with a Community Mental Health Acute Care and Case Management Team; Mental Health Liaison- A/CNC at a hospital Emergency Department; and Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) and Coordinator of a Mental Health Service’s Clozapine Clinic.
Dianne is committed to the provision of expert mental health care and advocacy to mental health consumers and their families/carer(s), and the provision of a high standard of professional practice and clinical leadership in mental health nursing.
Dianne’s association with the School of Nursing, University of Notre Dame Australia began in 2009, where she has been able to draw on her on-going clinical experience and knowledge to assist undergraduate nursing students with their learning and development.
Dianne is a CNS (Adult and Community Mental Health) and Coordinator of a Mental Health Service’s Clozapine Clinic. She is also a Lecturer at the School of Nursing, University of Notre Dame Australia (Sydney Campus).
