I am a registered nurse with over 10 years of clinical nursing experience primarily in Cardiac Nursing. Most of my clinical experience has been gained whilst working as a clinical nurse specialist and clinical nurse educator at St Vincent’s Public Hospital in Sydney. I have worked in both the public and private sectors within NSW and QLD as a Clinical Nurse educator since 2001. Whilst living and working in North Queensland, I was employed by James Cook University as a subject coordinator for their post graduate Cardiac Nursing course and have been a guest lecturer at The College of Nursing on numerous occasions. My association with the University of Notre Dame began in the beginning of the foundation year of 2006. I have enjoyed being responsible for the coordination of Nursing Care 1 & 2 as well as delivery of the lectures, tutorials and laboratory skills sessions. Through this I have been able to draw on my ongoing clinical experiences to assist the students with their learning.
