Louise has been a practicing registered nurse for 11 years. She has a Masters of Public Health and a PhD in Nursing, her doctoral study utilised an Action Research framework. Louise’s clinical expertise lies in the fields of community and aged care nursing including palliative care. Previously Louise  worked as a lecturer, and course and campus coordinator at the University of Western Sydney during which time she obtained extensive experience teaching and coordinating both clinical and research based units of study.
