Our campuses

At Notre Dame, you can experience Australian life right on the beach in Perth, Western Australia or in the vibrant heart of the university precinct in Sydney, New South Wales.

Sydney

If you choose to settle in Sydney, you will never run out of things to see and do.

As one of the most popular cities globally, Sydney offers a rich and diverse range of activities and places to explore. There are options for everyone, whether you’re interested in concerts, sports, museums and galleries, exploring nature, eating out or heading to the beach.

Perth

Perth is known for its gorgeous climate, stunning beaches and beautiful nature. There is no shortage of activities, from art galleries and museums to restaurants for eating out, music and arts festivals, parks, the Margaret River wine region and some of the world’s most beautiful and remote beaches.

Accommodation

  • Sydney accommodation

    There is plenty of great housing options for students surrounding the campus including rooms in residential colleges or guest houses, shared student apartments and private rentals. Notre Dame doesn’t offer on-campus accommodation in Sydney, but there are other accommodation options.

  • Perth accommodation

    If you choose to study at the Fremantle campus, you’ll have the option to stay on-campus if you choose to. There are also housing options for students surrounding the campus, including rooms in residential colleges or guest houses, shared student apartments and private rentals.

Important information and key dates

  • Semester dates

    It’s important to plan your arrival in Perth or Sydney carefully to ensure you’ve recovered from the flight and are settled into your surroundings. You also want to arrive in time for mandatory orientation and the start of classes.

    The academic year is split into two:

    • Semester 1: February to June
    • Semester 2: July to November

    To help in planning for your time abroad, our academic calendars and other important information dates are found at Calendars and timetables.

  • Application deadlines

    Semester 1 study (February to June):

    • Nomination due from a partner university: 15 November of the previous year
    • Application due date: 30 November of the previous year

    Semester 2 (July to November):

    • Nomination due from a partner university: 15 April of the same year
    • Application due date: 1 May of the same year
  • Study fees

    The fees are:

    • 4 courses (100 UNDA credit points) AU$8,800
    • 5 courses (125 UNDA credit points) AU$11,000
