Student clubs and societies at Notre Dame

Student clubs and societies are a great way to get involved in university life. Our Fremantle and Sydney campuses are home to a variety of clubs and societies ranging from school societies, special interest groups, sporting, and social clubs.

Starting a club

If you can’t find what you’re looking for within our list of clubs, why not start a new one?

To start a new club, you’ll need to:

  • Find at least 5 currently enrolled students who will be involved in the club.
  • Meet with your campus-based Student Association to discuss application requirements.
  • Complete your application which includes a draft constitution. A constitution template will be provided to you when you meet with your Student Association.
  • A staff member from Student Life will meet with you to discuss your application and explain the process.
  • All clubs need to align with our policy: Policy: University Affiliation of Student Clubs.
