  • Redkite and Coles Dare to Dream Scholarship Sydney

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to ensure cancer does not get in the way of students goals and their ability to achieve maximum potential in terms of a formal tertiary education. There are a range of Scholarships and Grants available valued at $5,000 for the National Award Winner, $3,000 for the National Finalists and $2,000 for recipients.

  • The Vice Chancellor's Humanitarian Scholarship

    Value: Tuition fees of the recipient.

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist students holding one of the classes of visa listed in Appendix 1 of the Scholarship Conditions to commence or continue their studies at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle and Sydney Campuses.

    The Scholarship has been established by the University in keeping with the University’s commitment to ethics and social justice, within a context of Catholic faith and values.

    To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

    a. Be from a refugee or asylum seeker background as evidenced by the applicant holding one of the classes of visa listed in Appendix 1 of the Scholarship Conditions which permits the recipient to undertake tertiary studies in Australia; and
    b. Have been offered a place or be enrolled as a student in an undergraduate bachelor program or in the Tertiary Pathway Program at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle or Sydney campus.

    Scholarship Conditions

  • The Fr PJ McGuire Scholarship

    Value: $2,500

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to support students of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent, with a preference for Kimberley students, studying at the Broome, Fremantle or Sydney Campus of The University of Notre Dame Australia.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:

    1. Be and state that he/she identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person and is recognised by his/her community as a person of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent;
    2. Be enrolled or accepted for enrolment in an Undergraduate, Postgraduate or VET course at The University of Notre Dame Australia;
    3. Be undertaking their studies internally; and
    4. Be able to demonstrate that their educational opportunities are limited due to adverse circumstances as set out in the Selection Criteria

  • Odyssey Travel 2018 Merit and Equity Scholarship

    Value: up to $10,000

    The purpose of this Scholarship is to offer second year and beyond students assistance based on academic performance and demonstrated financial need.

  • The Catenian Charity Inc. Scholarship

    Value: $5,000 per annum

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist young Catholic students in the choice or pursuit of a career for the duration of their studies. The recipient is required to use the Scholarship funds towards the cost of their tuition fees.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship applicants must:

    a. Be enrolled in a tertiary institution or tertiary residential college;
    b. Have completed at least 1 year of full time studies towards their Bachelor degree;
    c. Be 16 to 24 years of age;  
    d. Be in necessitous circumstances*;
    e. Demonstrate that their educational opportunities are limited, for example, because of financial need, distance, or responsibility for others, such as the ill or elderly; and
    f. Demonstrate drive and commitment to achieve academically, despite financial hardship, or other personal difficulty, in order to continue their studies.

    *A person is in necessitous circumstances where they cannot afford to have a modest standard of living in Australia. A person receiving Youth Allowance is qualified as necessitous.

  • The Bupa International Student Award

    Value: $1,000 (Up to 3 Awards)

    The purpose of the Award is to assist and encourage international students, enrolled at The University of Notre Dame Australia, to be involved in the life and culture of the University and the broader community.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:

    1. Be enrolled as an international student at the University in an undergraduate or postgraduate award course;
    2. Continue their enrolment at the University for a minimum of one semester post-award; and
    3. Be a student of good academic standing.

    Students enrolled in Study Abroad or Exchange courses are ineligible.
